I might quit this subreddit

I just can't take it anymore. How can a low ass quality post just saying "if (oc) does (something), what would you do?" get so popular while the others get completely abandoned. I tried doing the same thing but it doesn't work for me. anything that isn't a roleplay barely gets any likes or comments. this subreddit just became all about ocs. what am i supposed to do in this situation? i can't just automatically fix it with one post unless if the mods makes these low effort posts only on weekends. Just like in r/dandysworld_.
