PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS POST EVEN THOUGH IT’S KARMA FARM FRIDAY! THIS COULD BE VERY IMPORTANT!
I was scrolling through Google images looking at Sprunki stuff (which I know is a horrible idea), and I found all of this. (I had to look it up again so I could take a picture this time.) There’s these random Sprunki games on Steam for some reason, and I have no idea if these are even legal or not. I haven’t looked at any trailers, and I haven’t played any of the demos, but these games aren’t out yet, and are made by different developers by the looks of things.
Two of them, those being Sprunki Town and Sprunki Horror from the Loop, are visual novels, and the developers appear to be new, as they’ve worked on absolutely nothing in the past. Sprunki Town in particular has a demo released, and it appears to be (probably) made by a fan, considering that Mard plays a role. Meanwhile, Horror from the Loop is part visual novel, part rhythm game, although the art style is a bit odd for my tastes.
Then there’s Rise of Horror, which looks like something out of Garten of Banban, and while the devs have made games before, they had some skibidi-related one, so I’m assuming that Rise of Horror is just a cash-grab on an already dead trend.
The reason why I feel like this should be talked about more is that none of these people own the rights to Sprunki. Nyanko does. And if he finds out about these, he’s gonna be pissed for sure. I was also working on a Sprunki-related game, but I wasn’t gonna release it on Steam or anything, leaving mine as a fangame. What do you think?
